You have options across the country.

If you made a New Year’s resolution to attend a writers conference this year, you still have time. Here are some Christian writers conferences scheduled for the next few months. (I’m pleased to be teaching several classes at the HACWN conference near Kansas City.)

September 2224: Inscribe Christian Writers’ Fellowship Fall Conference. Edmonton, AB, Canada. Some editors in attendance. No agents. Attendance: 100.

September 29–October 1: Maranatha Christian Writers’ Conference. Muskegon, MI. Consultations with agents, editors, and publishers. Contest and scholarship details on Website. Attendance: 200 max.

October 1: Pen to Paper Literary Symposium. Dayton, OH. Editors. Attendance 25.

October 78: Breathe Christian Writers Conference. Grand Rapids area. Keynoter: James Scott Bell. Editors/agents; full scholarships. Attendance 120.

October 15: Oregon Christian Writers Fall Workshop, Warner Pacific College, Portland. Keynoter: Ronie Kendig.

October 15: NW Ohio Christian Writers Fall Seminar. Keynote speaker. Attendance: 35.

October 2022: Heart of America Christian Writers Network Conference. Kansas City. Classes for new and advanced writers. Editors/agents. Contest. Attendance: 125.

 October 21–22: San Diego Christian Writers Guild “Writing for Life” Fall Conference. Friday night Q&A with editors and publishers. All day Saturday workshops, general sessions, and one-on-one meetings with faculty.

October 28–29: Indiana Faith and Writing Conference, Anderson, IN. Editors and agents. Book fair and contest.

November 1819: American Christian Writers Orlando Mentoring Retreat. Ramada Plaza.
