Andy Scheer has worked in publishing for more than thirty years. He recently served as editor-in-chief for the Christian Writers Guild and editorial director for BelieversPress. He’s also worked as an agent with Hartline Literary and as managing editor with Moody magazine.
Andy has edited fiction and nonfiction titles for publishers including Moody, WinePress, and Kregel, and clients including New York Times bestselling authors Dirk Cussler and Jerry B. Jenkins, as well as such notable writers as C. McNair Wilson, DiAnn Mills, Heather Day Gilbert, and Sammy Tippit.
He often teaches at conferences and judges national writing contests. A journalism graduate of Colorado State University, Andy also studied at Denver Seminary.
He and his wife live in Colorado Springs. His hobbies include photography, antique autos, and calling old-fashioned square dances.
